The work Nýidalur is a permanent installation in a small town in Italy, S. Casciano dei Bagni. Micol Assaël measured all the holes in an old outdoor brick wall and covered them with transparent glass semi spheres. There are about 60 glass units spread across the wall. The title references the name of the place where Assaël developed the work: a hut in the desert of Iceland where she lived and worked.
