Waiting for the Unknown (detail) - 2005 newspaper project Format variable On the bottom of Eldfell's mountain there's a sign that says: "The way to the newest mountain in the world. Eldfell 1973". This work is strictly dedicated to this volcano. Eldfell could wake up at any moment as it is so unpredictable. His morphology is like a hurt in the ground still bloody red and warm. It smokes from time to time. The project's purpose is to leave a scar on the volcano itself. 1 ton of TNT will be stored on a crater in order to provoke a big explosion when the volcano will wake up again.
