Photos: Barbara Tucci. The exhibition Fuoriuso in 2003 took place in an old hotel where workers from a nearby train station used to stay. The hotel had long corridors and many little rooms. Micol Assael and Jorge Peris modified the central passage of the hotel by locking the doors with chains and creating a big hole in the stairs. On the top floor, the artists demolished the floor which was behind the closed doors. Behind this unreachable place they installed a constantly ringing telephone.
