The work 'Sleeplessness' deals with the various forms, stages and flows of energy. The two room installation was lit only by street light from the open windows.
In the first room, while being confronted with the smell of burned plastic, the viewer saw smoke rising from the electrical sockets. The windows were open so that the gases would flow as soon they were blown out of the holes.
In the second room the ceiling was covered with ice and the loud noise of two freezers filled the space. By collecting the ambient water in the room, the ice grew over the course of the exhibition thus creating a constantly lowered ceiling.
