Free Fall in the Vortex of Time - 2005 book with drawings 120 x 40 x 40 cm 47 1/4 x 15 3/4 x 15 3/4 in Assaël made the drawings in 'free fall in the vortex of time' on her trips to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, spring 2005. Every time she had to wait, she used the current time and date as a stating point for a drawing. The images consist of many numbers which form shapes on the surface of plane tickets, postcards, receipts etc. The drawings where first shown as an installation at Galleria Zero in Milan. They were then presented as a book. The cover of the book is the cover of a radio instruction manual.
