Michael Sailstorfer has locked one microphone in balls made of different kind of resins so it cannot record voices. Instead of noise the microphone records the material and the vibration of the floor and thus transforms the inaudible into sound. Sailstorfers' minimalistic approach reminiscent of Bruce Naumans tape recorder where the artists' recorded scream is solidified in concrete giving the piece a sculptural presence.
