Untitled - stack with water - 2006 stainless steel, pump, water 195 x 60 x 60 cm / 76 3/4 x 23 1/2 x 23 1/2 in Exhibition view: Fontane, Galleria ZERO..., Milan, 2006. The work consists of seven 15 x 60 x 60 cm stainless steel basins, all attached to the wall and spaced 15 cm above each other. A pump behind the wall sends water into the highest basin to brim over one basin into another. The result is an even and regulated curtain of water flowing down on the three open sides of the basins. From the lowest basin, the water is led into a basin hidden behind the wall and pumped up again. In title and appearance, the work explicitly refers to Donald Judd's work Untitled (Stack) from 1968/69.
