For this body of work Alicja Kwade copied carefully hand written letter which play a dramaturgical role in Alfred Hitchcock’s thrillers. In the letters most of the time a love affair is broke up or a precarious manifestation is made. The artist showed her copy to a professional graphologist who made a detailed analysis of the writer’s character. The expertise accompanies the hand written letter.
